We want children to leave St Peter’s enthusiastic and confident in their ability to use digital technology to enhance their lives in a wide variety of ways.

We aim to provide opportunities for our children to understand some of the many applications of Computing technology in the world of work, entertainment, communication and innovation. We want the children to understand that many curriculum areas can be enhanced using digital technology.

We want our children to understand that many of their talents in other curriculum areas can be enhanced using digital technology.

At St Peter’s we aim to give the children sufficient experiences with a range of digital devices and software to develop their ability to choose the correct tool, device, software or app to achieve a particular outcome independently.

We want our children to have their education enriched by accessing the internet safely. We want our children to understand the risks and potential dangers that can occur when working online. We want our children to be resilient, thoughtful, considerate, creative, healthy users of the internet. We want our children to understand the power of the internet – both positive and negative.
