At St Peter’s we aim to provide a safe, caring and friendly environment for all of our pupils. This includes encouraging open discussion around differences between people and celebrating diversity. We expect pupils to act safely and feel safe in school, including that they understand the issues relating to all forms of bullying and that they feel confident to seek support from school should they feel they or others are unsafe.
Each year we participate in Anti-Bullying Week which is coordinated in England and Wales by the Anti Bullying Alliance and takes place (this year) from 15th to 19th November 2021.
This year, it has the theme ‘One Kind Word’. Over the course of the week, our children will discuss this theme in their classes and during assemblies.
Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week and this year it's taking place on Monday 15th November. It’s a great way to celebrate what makes us all unique. It would be great if as many children as possible can come to school on Monday in odd socks of their choice. Parents, please feel free to also wear odd socks that day (lots of the staff at school will be). The more the merrier, the odder the better!
