Every November, our school celebrates UK Parliament week.

Throughout the week, pupils learn:

• What is Parliament?
• What is the Government?
• Why do we need laws?
• What do Members of Parliament do?

The aim is for our pupils to learn what democracy is and how they can get involved. As our school mission states, we want our pupils to change the world for the better and hopefully this will contribute towards this aim.

The week will aim with a visit from our local MP who will speak to our pupils about her role.
