Amigos is our friendship/ buddy system between our new Year 3 pupils and our Year 5 pupils. 

There are many benefits to this including:

• Gives all Y5 pupils an opportunity to be a leader in school with an area of responsibility - and all of the self-esteem benefit that naturally accompanies this
• Gives all Y3 someone to aspire to, to learn from, a sense of security and a special bond with an older pupil
• Helps with transition to St Peter's for Y3's
• Helps pupils to know one another across year groups
• Create purposeful opportunities to share learning, achievements and praise 
• Bonds are established/relationships naturally continue in to Y4 & Y6
