At St Peter's we have teaching assistants who have had specialist training to become an ELSA - Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, these are:

Mrs Allcock and Mrs Burrows -Their work is usually on a one-to-one basis with a child.

In addition, Mrs McBryane delivers group Boxall nurture, which takes place in the Nurture building, a special room in school that has been carefully designed to provide a 'home from home' feeling. 

We also use Think Children, a charity that has specialists who deliver 1:1 therapy.
