Mental Health Week

February 2022 marks Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. The theme this year is 'Growing Together' and we will be focusing on how we can support each other's growth, whilst looking at what is mental health and strategies to stay mentally healthy.

This year we have run parent workshops on Emotional Literacy and supporting children who are anxious, Mindful practices and relaxation, Forest School nurture and Paul, our art therapist, has led a session on supporting mental health at home - thank you to those parents who were able to attend.

Take a look at some of the information here about the work of our ELSAs (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants) and watch the assemblies, one from Place2Be, a leading children's mental health charity and one from Mrs Roberts, where we reflect on growth both of our staff and pupils in relation to their mental health.
