COOP COMMUNITY FUND
We have been accepted for the new round of the Co-op Community Fund at our local Ruddington store and we plan to use these funds for our 'Climbing Frame Appeal' for the school playground.
What does being accepted mean?
Whenever a customer ,with a Co-op membership card, buys Co-op branded goods they earn 5% cashback for themselves to spend on future purchases and 1% for the local causes, of which we are one. (The other two are the Friends of James Peacock school and Good Companions).
How can you help?
If you have a Co-op membership card already go online to: www.coop.co.uk/membership - register your card and then select “The Friends of St Peter's Junior School” as your chosen cause. Then all you have to do is present your card whenever you shop and Co-op will do the rest.
If you don’t have a membership card, it costs £1 and application forms are available in our local store. You don’t even have to shop in our local Co-op or even live in Ruddington!
Whenever you shop in any co-op in the Nottinghamshire area the 1% will still be credited to us as long as you, your family, neighbours, work colleagues, friends etc have registered their card and selected us as a cause.
I have children at James Peacock and St Peter’s schools
That is not a problem. You can only choose one cause to support, so don’t choose any! If you don’t choose a cause at the end of this round, which is 27th October 2018, all the community fund monies from all the customers who have not selected a specific cause will be shared across the 3 causes, so both schools will receive a third .
This scheme is a fantastic way to raise monies for local causes with very little effort.
All you have to do is shop as you usually do!
If you have NOT got a membership card PLEASE invest £1 in getting one.
YOU will get 5% cash back when you buy Co-op branded goods and you will also be donating 1% to local causes e.g us!
